Mission: To raise awareness of the damage caused by plastic waste that infiltrates the oceans and to inspire change by providing an alternative, sustainable beach product.
Bare Beach founder, Paige Bolahood, was inspired to preserve the Coasts after many trips to and eventually spending summers in the remote surf town, Tofino, BC. The overwhelming local pride of the beaches while living in conjunction with nature was sufficient for a lifetime commitment toward conservation. Paige has a degree in Business which she blended with a creative side for design. Her passions include yoga & sports, traveling, wildlife and music - inspirations for the bikini prints.
Bare Beach suits are made with soft, high quality fabric that comes from an innovative process using recycled plastic bottles. Sourcing the fabric domestically and working with North American manufacturers was of high importance when designing the brand - including the recycled, biodegradable packaging (a major contributor of plastic waste). Bare Beach hopes to inspire change and promote questioning where our clothing comes from and how it is made.
WHY WE LOVE THEM:
Inspired by her love for the Tofino coast, Paige chose to keep everything local when producing her suits. In addition to the brands mission of ocean preservation, we love the flattering cuts and styles!
